Convention Video Information

To all those who pre-ordered a video at the Miniature Railroad Convention in September or are planning on ordering a video, here is a little update:

Robinson and Associates took some orders for these in advance during the Convention. Due to a misunderstanding, mostly the fault of John Woods, the video will not be produced by the Robinsons but will instead be produced by a group of the "Friends of the Railroad" and the photo committee. The videos are currently in the hands of a group of professional videographers and writers. We are hopeful of its availability sometime in early 2008. Anyone who pre-ordered one of the videos at the convention and is not able to obtain the video through Robinson & Associates for the $30.00 special price already paid, need only contact the Miniature Railroad Convention office at 314-679-1386 and we will provide the finished video free of charge, in other words, for no additional cost. We are sorry that our lack of communication has created this problem. We are confident, however, that you'll be pleased with the finished product as we have reviewed much of the 15 hours our camera crew recorded. Look for a stunning video which will capture the engines, trains, people and events of what we feel was a very exciting Miniature Railroad Convention. A portion of the video is dedicated to the planning and designing of the railroad. One hundred percent of the anticipated post production $40.00 sales price will be donated to the project known as the "Ozark Scenic Railroad and Museum". Those of you in attendance at the convention are aware that this is a very ambitious project and the group of citizens involved hope to create a world class scenic railroad.
