Arborway T.T. & Northwestern Trains
Most of the rolling stock for the Arborway, T.T. and Northwestern Railroad came from Glenn Bell's. Bell Garden Farms Railroad in Valley Center, California. The equipment consists of a GP-9 diesel # 452 that was built in the early 1960's by a number of the engineers at Convair Aviation in San Diego, California. There's also a SW1200 style diesel switcher # 497 built in the 1980's by Custom Locomotive, formerly of Chicago, Illinois.
There are two F-7 style diesels # 325 & # 216 also built by Custom Locomotive in the 1980's; one of them is actually diesel powered # 325 and the other is battery powered # 216. Also from Bell Gardens is a battery powered trolley # 1911 with two drone cars. A 5hp lawnmower type engine powers the little yellow and black speeder # 86 There are 4 New York Central passenger cars numbers 3302, 3303, 3305 & 3308 believed to be built in the Kansas City, Missouri area sometime in the 1960's. An additional number, approximately 18, freight style passenger cars also came from Bell Gardens and built mostly in the 60's and 70's. There are also two tank cars, one cattle car, one box car, four passenger gondola cars, a Davenport switcher # 28, a 2-6-0 mogul # 44 and a caboose that came from the Hillcrest and Watoke Railroad, also in California.
From the Whiskey River Railroad in Wisconsin, came the 4-8-4 Northern #801 and SW1200 style switcher #17 as well as a tank car, hopper car, three flat cars and a work caboose.
Uhrich Locomotive Works in Strasburg, Colorado produced a D&RGW narrow gauge style caboose as well as two early 1900's covered coaches. We plan to add additional rolling stock as conditions and budgets allow.
